The HOTEL DE SERS has been built on the remains of a former private mansion redesigned many times since its construction. The existing hotel then had a disparate appearance as the buildings that made it up have undergone multiple extensions, additions and modifications over the decades that removed all coherence and readability from the whole.

Assuming that any restructuring and creation must be based on a prior understanding of a site as well as a building, VIDALENC ARCHITECTES thoroughly examines the existing buildings, even before focusing on the building of a new one.

The new establishment, opened in 2004 after 18 months of work, naturally took the name HOTEL DE SERS, thus offering the new operator a unique commercial readability. The HOTEL DE SERS will be one of the most published French hotels of the 2000s, not only among the professional editions of the hotel and construction industry, but also among those of the general public.

The restructuring of the complex strengthens the building and gives it an overall coherence, the net surface area of the establishment has been increased to 4,000 m², thanks to the excavation of medians and the construction at the bottom of the plot of a small building dedicated to the administration and management of the new hotel.
